Hi, I'm Suha! Manchester United is my life. Luke Shaw is very, very special. Germany NT is pretty great; Daley Blind and Marco Reus make me happy. Arctic Monkeys, Taylor Swift and poems are nice. I make edits and gifs and stuff sometimes - Feel free to leave in requests!
Thoughts go out to Abdelhak Nouri of Ajax, who collapsed during their friendly against Werder Bremem today. The game was called off after the incident in the second half. Ajax have confirmed he suffered from a cardiac arrhythmia and is now in a stable condition
Ok so this post is extremely long and I put it all together for my blogs Feeling sad page but as I don’t have a huge amount of followers I realize so many people are not seeing this information so I’m posting it here too!
alternatives without harming yourself:
holding/squeezing ice.
splashing your face with water.
getting a rubber band and snapping it against your skin (this could hurt, though it’s better than other ways that people usually choose to self-harm).
take a hot shower or bath.
eat something sour. it will take your mind of the urge. (lemon, sour lollies)
massage where you want to self-harm.
get a red pen or red paint and draw/paint over where you usually self-harm.
remind yourself as to why you shouldn’t do it. (scars, harms organs, leave memories etc…)
describe what you are feeling. (is the urge/pain in your chest, fists, legs, arms, head).
killing yourself will not help. it is not a solution.
you have your whole life ahead of you. you have so many more years that you can accomplish things in. for example;
y'all stress over everything who cares if mcnair and love joined sunderland ??? they arent good enough 😳
im heartless ik
i know you probably didn’t mean for this to be offensive, but even if a player isn’t good enough and has to leave, those players still have fans that love them. Those players were still part of this club and those same fans loved seeing them at this club, so i’m not really sure that you should be making their feelings for players leaving irrelevant because they weren’t ‘good enough’. Without fans, football would be nothing
^ Second that. Football, the way it is, how it works, none of it is about sentiments at all. But the club, the players, hold a very special place in some of our hearts. I know you probably didn’t mean it in an offensive way but thing is, even if not good enough, there are some people who held them very close. Football for us fans is a way of relief, relaxation, and most importantly, something that brings us joy. When our team scores, the joy is definitely there but when our favourite player scores for our favourite club - or even has a performance that has everyone talking without scoring or assisting, brings us some extra joy on those good days. Everyone has a favourite player, and most of the time we don’t even know why we chose them - maybe we found some connection or something, maybe they scored on a day that was going terribly for us but that one goal made it all better, it could be anything. And them playing for our favourite club makes it even better - they probably wouldn’t even be a favourite if they didn’t play for the club we support! So them leaving is always going to hurt because at the end of the day, that person won’t get to see their favourite player play in their beloved club’s kit again, and that is bound to be upsetting. Maybe you see it in a different way and it’s not at all wrong to have an opinion different than others’, but everyone has different reactions to situations and there’s nothing wrong if someone gets sad over their favourite player leaving their favourite club. As for Paddy, I myself had expectations from him but unluckily it didn’t work out, and I wish him all the best - but there are some people I personally know who are upset over him leaving because they really liked him, and it’s okay to be if that’s how they feel. Even if the players aren’t good enough.
